We can offer onsite fire extinguisher training and more advanced fire warden training. All course can be tailored to meet with your requirements and procedures already set up.
It is a legal requirement for staff to have training to an adequate level, depending on size of company and the risks that are involved with in the workplace. Dependant on risk assessment and fire policy or action plan of site a percentage of staff will be trained in the event of a fire
Do you have a fire risk assessment or had assessment reviewed, fire safety is governed by the Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005 in England and Wales and the fire (Scotland) Act 2005 Part 3 of the act specifies who has responsibility for fire and safety in non-domestic premises in Scotland and part 3of the fire and rescue services (Northern Ireland) order 2006 and the fire safety regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010.
Under this law the responsibility for the fire safety in non-domestic premises is placed on the responsible person, or the person having control of the premises. This legislation requires all employers to carry out their own fire risk assessment. If over 5 employees this must be documented.
Emergency lighting is installed to conform to BS5266 to illuminate escape routes in the event that a lighting circuit loses main power the emergency lighting operates automatically to aid safe evacuation to escape routes.
Fire alarms service and install can be carried out, our service engineers are fully trained and able to recommend a servicing program that will ensure compliance with British Standards (BS5839 Part 1) and will be individually designed to suit your particular system and your working environment.
